Using Béile

Béile estimates the calories and macronutrients in your food from a photo. You need an account for the daily log, and you agree to use the app lawfully and not to misuse, scrape or reverse engineer it.

Subscription, trial and renewal

• Béile Unlimited starts with a 7-day free trial.
• Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid plan at $3.99/month or $29.99/year, depending on the plan you chose.
• Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in the app. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues until the end of the period you've already paid for.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change with notice before your next renewal.

Refunds

Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. If something went wrong, email support@getbeile.com and we'll look at it in good faith.

Medical disclaimer — not medical advice

Béile does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or personalized dietary counseling. All nutrition information shown in the app — including calories, protein, carbohydrate and fat estimates — is generated by artificial intelligence from photographs and is an approximation only. AI estimates can be inaccurate because of portion size, hidden ingredients, sauces, oils, cooking methods, lighting, photo quality and other factors the model cannot see.

The app is intended for general educational and self-tracking purposes only. It is not a substitute for advice from a licensed physician, registered dietitian, nutritionist, or other qualified healthcare professional. Always consult your doctor or another licensed medical professional before making any changes to your diet, exercise, medication, or treatment plan, especially if you have or suspect a medical condition.

Using Béile does not create a doctor-patient, dietitian-client, or any other healthcare-provider relationship between you and us. We do not review your individual health information, we do not supervise your care, and we are not responsible for any health outcomes that result from your use of the app.

• Do not rely on Béile to manage diabetes, kidney disease, heart disease, eating disorders, food allergies, intolerances, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or any other medical condition without professional supervision.
• The app cannot reliably detect allergens, cross-contamination, or food safety issues. Never use it to decide whether a food is safe for you to eat.
• If you experience symptoms, have a medical emergency, or need personalized nutrition guidance, contact a qualified healthcare provider immediately.

Allergy and special-diet safety

Béile cannot reliably detect allergens, ingredients, cross-contamination, or special-diet suitability. AI analysis of a photograph cannot see hidden ingredients, trace amounts, shared kitchen equipment, preparation methods, or recipe substitutions. The app may misidentify ingredients entirely.

• If you have a food allergy, intolerance, celiac disease, or any condition where certain ingredients could harm you, do not rely on Béile to tell you whether a food is safe. Always verify ingredients, preparation and labeling yourself.
• If you follow a special diet for health, religious, ethical or medical reasons — such as vegetarian, vegan, kosher, halal, low-FODMAP, diabetic, renal, low-sodium, or allergen-free — consult the food provider, packaging or a qualified professional to confirm suitability.
• When in doubt, talk to a licensed clinician, registered dietitian or other qualified healthcare provider before eating.

You are solely responsible for confirming that any food you eat is safe and appropriate for your dietary needs. Béile is not a food-safety, allergen-detection or special-diet verification tool.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos you upload. You grant us permission to process them so we can produce and store your nutrition results.

Availability and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that estimates will be accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Béile and its owners, employees and affiliates will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the app, including but not limited to health-related decisions, injuries, adverse reactions, medical conditions, or reliance on any nutrition estimate. This limitation applies even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50 if you have not made any payment.

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Béile from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your reliance on any estimate for medical, dietary or health purposes.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
